Gift Guide 2014

Still looking for that last-minute holiday gift? We offer gift certificates for any type of angler, but we've put together a short list of things that we'd like to find under the tree this year! Below you'll find staff favorites and new and hot items we have in stock. Please check it out and don't hesitate to give us a ring for additional ideas, 206 362 4030.

 Stocking Stuffers

Top Pick: Simms Skeena Gloves

These 2.5mm neoprene gloves keep your hands warm and dry while you cast, reel and row. Simms really did well with the fit of these gloves. Essentials for the winter steelheader or anyone fishing in cold weather, we hope to find these gloves in all our stockings!

$39.95

Elegant Wheatley Fly Boxes

Nothing says you're on the nice list better than a Wheatley Box in your stocking. The ones we have in right now are perfect for summer run steelhead patterns or trout soft hackles.

So sweet.

$64.50

A Fly Box For Any Type of Fly: From Tiny to Tarpon

You'll find them on the top of our fly bins, and they range from simple foam to small-fly specialty and boxes especially for big flies and streamers.

$10 - $50

Nextcast Spey Fly Lines

These lines had us stoked even before we saw the Spey Sasquatch on the label. The Salar Finder drops just below the surface for a smooth swing and is designed to work with a 10 ft. sinktip, and the Winter Authority 55 has made it onto all our spey reels and works great with your favorite spey rod. A great choice for that classic bar in January when the clarity is good, your cast is dialed in and it's time to cover some water.

$100/$109

A New Line For a Favorite Rod

No matter what type of fishing you have on your calendar in 2015, there is a fly line that will make it more fun. From the Sharkwave to the Perception to the Ridge to classic tapers that will have you throwing tighter loops and better presentations, the proper line can really make a difference in your experience on the water!

Scientific Anglers, Rio, Airflo

$79.95 - $100

Redesigned Simms Wading Staff

 Pro Wading Staff $149.95

An outstanding redesign, this Simms wading staff stows easily in its improved pouch with a wide opening, assembles into a staff in one quick motion and locks down with a flip tab for extra security when negotiating tough currents.

Buffs to Protect and Cool Skin

Always a safe bet for a piece of gear that will be used and loved, the ubiquitous Buff now comes in a ton of great colors and designs. UV Buffs help protect skin from harmful UV Light.

Gifts To Keep Things Dry

Top Pick: Simms Slick Jacket

A shop favorite, the Simms Slick jacket is the culmination of several latest designs from Simms. Built with incredibly waterproof Gore-Tex Pro fabric, the Slick has the same bomber durability that Simms is known for. It will keep you dry in a downpour, and it will last you for years.

There is zippered access to the interior of the jacket (happens to line up very well with the hand warmer pockets on Simms waders), so you don’t have to take off your jacket to warm your hands of find gear in your pockets.

The cuffs won't snag your running line and feel snug against your wrist. The collar stands up separately from the hood, so if there's a window in the Puget Sound rain you can put your hood down and still stay warm in cold temperatures.

Dry and Organized Gear: Simms Collection

Simms Dry Creek Z Backpack $299.95
Simms Dry Creek Z Hip Pack $199.95

Simms has just come out with some really strong offerings in waterproof packs, the Dry Creek Z Backpack and Hip Pack. The instant you put them in your hands you can feel the durability and quality. Totally waterproof zips and burly TPU-coated fabric sets these bags apart from the competition.  Keep your stuff organized and dry this winter and spring with the durability of Simms.

Dry Creek Duffel $169.95

Tongass 650 Waistpack $169.99
